face masks

So those people who know me will know that i'm obsessed with skin so I've decided to compose another blog post on skin care:)
These are few quick and easy face masks they really help with breakouts and dark spot lightening and can be easily made with basic ingredients in your kitchen.

1) One egg white beaten with a little bit of lemon juice and honey (you can use either one or both it's your choice). Once you beat the egg white till it's a bit fluffy apply it to your face for half an hour and then wash it off with cold water.

2) Tumeric and honey.
You'll need 5 teaspoons of honey and one of tumeric, mix these ingredients together and then apply it to your face. This is an amazing mask for lightening the complexion and getting rid of spots however it is very messy and gets onto everything and the tumeric tends to stain so wear old clothes while using this mask and stay away from white sheets etc...

3) Baking Soda and Water
after washing your face mix together some baking soda and water and apply it to your face and wash off after 15 minutes. Only use this mask if you have an acne or serve blackhead problem. It may not work for everyone

4) Oats
rough oats are a very good as an exfoliator

hope these help. masks can be made from pretty much anything in your kitchen

Too Poor to Dress Well?

I constantly hear girls saying that they can't afford to dress well and frankly i think that's such nonsense!
You don't need to be rich to carry yourself with confidence and look good!
So today i'm gonna give everyone some tips to look good on a tight budget.
1). End of season sales!
Dig through all the junk at these events you'll be surprised at the well priced junk you'll pull     out.  Trust me on this one i've learnt from experience.
These are some of the best shops to sale shop at:
*YDE (R100 sale)- you have to be there quite early though to pick up the good stuff
*Woolies quality sales
*Meltz! such amazing junk sales
*Classic Surf clearance outlets when they have their 50% off everything sale
*Edgars...
the list is endless it just depends what kind of clothes you are into and when that shop has a sale, so keep a look out.

2)  I know i've said that Mr Price is a big no no at campus, however if you can't afford anything else it really is a very reasonably priced shop with the most stylish clothes so pay it a visit. If you want to be  little bit different just purchase your staples from there like jeans, plains tees, classic pumps and vests and  maybe even some accessories, but don't be fooled into buying the bags
as those tend to become a staple with many people.

3) Other shops with hidden gems that are very reasonably priced are Asmalls, Eddies, Meltz and china mall or china shops in general.
Even though I say these shops are worth paying a visit becareful, because it's very easy to fall into the fashion "don't" category. So while shopping think classy! and not chassie;)

-Fake It Till You Can Make It-
(Apt description for those people who can't afford expensive clothes but want to look good, make the cheap stuff work and say no to being a brand whore;))
